The RS2000 Mk6 holds an important place in Escort history. With its purposeful styling, driver-focused cabin and eager 2.0 litre 16 valve engine, it helped restore excitement to the Escort range and remains one of the standout RS models of its era. Today, it is an increasingly desirable modern classic with genuine enthusiast and collector appeal. This also marks the last Rally Sport (RS) Ford Escorts to be produced. The end of an era spanning back to 1970.
